Abigail Leigh Spencer - born on the 4th of August, 1981 is an American Actress. She's best known for her roles in the film Cowboys & Aliens. The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great & Powerful The Great and Powerful, The Great and Powerful, Is Where I Leave You. Her current role is Amantha in Rectify, a Sundance Channel series. Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American film director and actress who also works on television. Her appearances in the drama series Rectify and the sci-fi show Timeless have made her an international star. Gulf Breeze native Her first role was in soap opera All My Children. In recognition of her performance, she won the Soap Opera Digest Award as an Outstanding Female Newcomer. She mostly played in role as guest actors over the course of many years. Her popularity was rewarded for her role of the character Dr. Erin Jameson in the TV show Hawthorne. The character gradually gained a audience thanks to her amazing looks and incredible acting abilities. In the film Campfire Stones, she played a part at the age of 20. Jekyll This Means War was another film where she played a leading role. The character she played as the lead character in Beautiful Now was recognized with a Madrid International Film Festival Award. The main character in Timeless will be Lucy Preston, history professor. Spencer was named a Teen Choice Award nominee for Spencer's performance on Timeless. Timeless has earned the praise of critics.
